Designed with Chalk Paint™ in Château Gray and Scandinavian Pink, this dining room brings a Nordic feel to Christmas.

This Scandinavian-inspired Christmas dining room features muted khakis and pinks instead of the traditional red and green theme. The walls and floors are painted with Chalk Paint™ in Château Gray (the floors are lacquered with Matt Chalk Paint™ Lacquer) and the chairs are painted olive and finished with Clear Chalk Paint™ wax.

To combat these tones, the table is washed in Old White, the legs are painted Scandinavian Pink and hammered with White Chalk Paint™ wax. Be sure to use Clear Chalk Paint™ wax or varnish on the countertop for longevity.

On the wall, this sweet rustic advent calendar can be reused year after year and filled with thoughtful, personalized gifts. The pouches are stitched with Ticking in Olive and the dates are added using luggage tags painted with Chalk Paint™.

As a finishing touch, the crackers are stenciled with Chalk Paint™ in Scandinavian Pink in our Circle design and the pine cones are painted in matching shades to serve as place names on the Christmas table. This mix of raw materials and muted colors is typical of the Scandi style with Annie Sloan finishes.
