Boho style

Painter in Residence Janice Issit created this bohemian bathroom by mixing her own custom colors from the Chalk Paint color range.

Janice began this project by creating a floral background using Image Medium and Chalk Paint Lacquer and rose illustrations by Pierre-Joseph Redouté.

Janice then wanted to match the color on an enamel tub. She mixed chalk paint in Antibes green and off-white to create a similar shade and used it to paint the wooden chair and shelf in the background.

Boho style, Janice continued to work with bright contrasting colors. She created a custom pink color using a mixture made from Emperor’s Silk, Henrietta and Old White which she painted on the chest and shelf. Flashes of Provence, Burgundy and Florence are also on the shelf. Everything is sealed with Clear Wax.
